Where There Is No Vision…

Having a vision and growth mindset towards your journey of growth as a teacher is the single most important ingredient to your levels of influence, persuasion, clarity, and effectiveness.

Purpose

Let’s be real. We all got into the field of education in order to make a difference. But sometimes we lose sight of why we’re doing what we’re doing. The good news is that your sense of purpose and mission can be restored, strengthened, and supercharged to infuse each day with meaning and feeling.

Perspective

We understand the world only as it occurs to us.  The power of perspective shapes our thoughts, feelings, and actions.  These, in turn, create our experience of reality and how we approach our calling as teachers, leaders, and role models for the next generation.

Positivity

In a world that’s drowning in pools of pessimism, it’s easy to get caught up in the “ain’t it awful” club.  Effective teachers, the true leaders, understand that positivity is a choice, and they intentionally set out to create a better world that starts with their own positive views of their students, their work, their community, and their world.
